Additional info added to the file
In case you ever forget what you set, there is some additional data added to the top of the DNS Creator import file. It will come in handy later when you are connecting EMS with PowerMTA.
Field explanations
Main Server
- Main domain - Domain name used on your Main server.
- Main IPv4 address - IPv4 of your Main server.
- Main IPv6 address - IPv6 of your Main server.
- Main hostname - Hostname for your Main server. This can be anything, just make sure it matches the hostname you will set on your Main server.
- Panel name - This is the URL where you'll access the control panel for the Main server. This record is needed so we can generate an SSL certificate later.
MTA Server
- MTA domain - Domain name used on your MTA server. This domain will be used for sending.
- Main domain - Domain name used on your Main server. Needed to set CNAME for tracking domain.
- MTA IPv4 address - IPv4 of your MTA server.
- MTA IPv6 address - IPv6 of your MTA server.
- Host name - Hostname for your MTA server. This can be anything, just make sure it matches the hostname you will set on your Main server.
- Panel name - This is the URL where you'll access the control panel for the MTA server. This record is needed so we can generate an SSL certificate later.
- VMTA name - Sub-domain used to send emails from PMTA. Remember this for later when you'll be connecting PowerMTA with EMS. rDNS must match this!
- Track name - Sub-domain used for tracking email opens, and clicks.
